FAI Women Referee Development Day

 

A special Development Day took place at the Oscar Traynor Coaching Centre on Saturday, March 31st for FAI Women Referees.  Officials came from all over the country to participate in specific workshops in match control, judging challenges and other practical referee matters.  This was the first such event specifically dedicated to Women Referees and catered for all levels from Grassroots to FIFA level.

Bill O'Neill Referee Supreme

On Monday evening, April 2nd, 2012, former League of Ireland and FIFA referee, Bill O'Neill attended the monthly meeting of the Kerry Soccer Referee's Society. A native of Dublin now living in Killarney he shared his experiences with local referee's. Bill O'Neill began his refereeing career in 1956.

On June 16th, 2012 the Kerry, Cork and Limerick Soccer Referees are playing a charity tournament in Tralee to raise further funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Last year in 2011 we raised €14,200.00.
